Abstract: The article outlines observation of phonetically expressive nonce words in the English literature. It contains the analysis of the phonosemantic nonce words fund belonging to such writers as J. Rowling, A.A. Milne, L. Carroll, J.R.R. Tolkien. The unique genre and style of these works determine a high degree of linguacreativity where one can define numerous author’s nonce words formed basing on phonosemantic regularities and characterized by a huge phonostylistic potential
