Abstract

Th is article examines the Yenisei Cossacks’ participation in the Civil War in Siberia and Mongolia during 1920-1921. The reasons for their mass emigration to Mongolia in the beginning of ‘20s and their participation in Baron R. Ungern-Sternberg’s unit are considered for the first time. The military operations performed with their support in Mongolia and the Uriankhayskiy region are also described.
