Abstract

This article discusses the use of a modified method of empirical orthogonal functions for solving the inverse problem of recovering the total content of carbon dioxide in the column of atmosphere above a particular territory, based on ground measurement points (TCCON station). Describes the method and results of processing real data satellite GOSAT instrument. Estimated error of the method in comparison with the ground truth data points and product GOSAT L2
