Abstract: This article is dedicated to discrete-continuum time-perception model and its realization in the Modern English. Identification of dynamic time perception and relatively static / discrete temporality perception is explained. Dynamic time-perception includes linear and circular time models which can be represented in a text as temperostatic and temperodynamic models. Relatively static / discrete time-perception includes chronography, chronometry, “eventivity”, instantivity and frequentativity. The mechanism of conceptual models transformation into certain cognitive models through the cognitive operation of focusing is also shown
