- Abstract
Carbon adsorbents from brown coal and wood wastes (mixed wastes of birch and aspen wood lumbering, hydrolytic lignin, larix sibirica bark) have been produced by pyrolysis and air-steam activation. Grained and powder like carbon adsorbents were tested at the phenol, oil-products, aliphatic acids, surface-active substances, copper, chromium-contained waters treatment. Results of kinetic and isothermal investigations of these substances adsorption are presented.
