Abstract: The paper describes the experience of usage of distant sounding data for a solution of concrete mountain-technological tasks on an example of Kuznetsk coal basin. Special attention is given to a method of selection of space plants’ boundaries on spaceshots on the basis of threshold processing of pictures and processing by filters Fure. The decision of the problem of allocation of borders of licence sites of mining operations in the open way by the given method is given. The decision is based on integration of spaceshots and vector cards. Also examples of use of data of remote sounding for specification and a substantiation of results of the decision of concrete mountain-technological problems are resulted.
