Abstract

Verified the possibility of refining silver bromide technical hydrometallurgical methods. Found that the best results achieved using a leaching solution of sodium thiosulfate and a binary mixture of sodium thiosulfate – ammonia solution. Good results were obtained with two-stage leaching of silver from waste photographic industry. The possibility of transfer of silver bromide in the metallic state as a result of cementation process with zinc and iron.
