Abstract: This is a research on adaptation of woman of 40-60 years old according to gender characteristics. Women were tested by BSRI and author’s topic–guide. The research was conducted among Australian and Russian women (406 people). We studied how women feel their age, how they comprehend the changes they have, aging, climacteric etc. In the report we tried to show gender and cultural differences of women who are in a big social and physiological crisis.
