Abstract: The article studies the characteristics of poetry of the Evens – indigenous peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East. Relying on Russian literature, the author examines the features of stanzas in the work of poets of the Evens. V. Lebedev`s works are analyzed as poetry examples of a representative of the Evens.
