Abstract

Issues related to engineering and application of composites based on nanodiamonds and degradable polyhydroxyalkanoates are discussed. The ability of composite engineering is demonstrated on the 3-polyhydroxybutyrate microspheres – modified detonation nanodiamonds composite fabricated through the bimolecular nucleophilic addition (AdN2) reaction. It was shown that during 20-min incubation at acid pH from 70 to 150 μg of the nanoparticles can be immobilized on 1 mg of the microspheres depending on the components weight ratio
