- Abstract
The material is intended to trace exactly how the principles that have developed in the approach of the Department of Art History of Krasnoyarsk State University, today – the Department of Cultural Studies and Art History of Siberian Federal University, used to form a professional art critic and clearly characterize art history education in Krasnoyarsk, are reflected in the activities of actors in cultural life and educational institutions, in including from the pre-professional level of art education. The article contains the analysis of practices of two museums and one art school in Krasnoyarsk as the clear evidence of the influence of the Krasnoyarsk school of art history. Two museums were chosen as representative institutions of the cultural sphere – a representative of the academic direction in museum affairs, the Krasnoyarsk Art Museum named after V. I. Surikov and the Peace Square Museum Center, which is at the forefront of working with the most modern art in the most relevant forms. As a representative of the active application of the principles of the art historical school of Krasnoyarsk in the field of education, the practices of the New Art School named after A. G. Pozdeev, which began its work in 2016. The analysis is based on direct observation of the activities of these institutions by the authors of the article: A. V. Kistova is the director of the Krasnoyarsk Art Museum named after V. I. Surikov, M. I. Bukova headed the Peace Square Museum Center from 2016 to 2023, and N. N. Pimenova took an active part in forming the concept of the New Art School named after A. G. Pozdeev before its opening, and currently participates in methodological support of the school educational process
