- Abstract
The purpose of the study is to find theoretical grounds for determining the psychological factors of youth migration behavior for their further systematization. An overview of some psychological theories that study the psychological factors of migration is presented. The activity-based and system-activity-based approaches include an analysis of the active essence of a person, the system and structure of human activity and their influence on a person’s construction of the trajectory of his or her life activity. The results of the work showed that the socio-psychological factors of young people’s migration behavior can be divided into 2 groups: subjective (discrepancy between values and their availability, features of the value-semantic sphere of the individual) and objective (the influence of socio-cultural patterns of behavior, the desire to imitate elite strata of the population when they choose the strategy of migrating to other regions; striving for something new, the desire to diversify their leisure time)
