- Abstract
The article discusses the issues of psychological support for patient orientation. The main problems that make it difficult to implement a patient-oriented approach in Russia are outlined. New trends in the development of domestic medicine have been identified: human-centered and value-oriented models of healthcare. A comparative analysis of foreign and domestic models of patient orientation is given, the advantages and possible limitations of their use are noted. The main areas of psychological support for patient orientation have been identified. The article applies an epistemological approach and uses methods of theoretical analysis and synthesis of scientific publications on the problem of psychological support for patient orientation. As conclusions, recommendations on the psychological support of a patient-oriented approach in domestic healthcare are proposed, indicating specific measures and procedures for their implementation
