Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the specifics of the use of robotics in the Theatre of Living Puppets «2+ku» in Tomsk, founded by V. Zakharov. The study is based on the results of applying such methods as observation, source analysis, and qualitative content analysis. The materials for the study were publications about the Theatre of Living Puppets «2+ku» and V. Zakharov, as well as the experience of multiple visits to the Theater of Living Puppets in Tomsk and acquaintance with its lively space. The article considers the specifics of electronic and mechanical puppets created by V. Zakharov, including his inventions that allowed the master to achieve the greatest lifelikeness of characters. One of the most important qualities of animating space through the use of robotics in the article is communicativeness, building not an impact on the viewer, but interaction with him with a truly artistic goal of transforming a person in the course of his communication with art, immersion in the work
