- Abstract
The article explores the legal regulation of restrictions on the joint employment of close relatives in situations involving subordination and accountability, considering these restrictions as anti-corruption measures within labor and public service relations. The legal definitions and interrelation of the concepts of subordination and accountability are analyzed, with emphasis on their practical application. The study highlights contradictions between anti-corruption restrictions and constitutional principles such as freedom of labor, equality, and non-discrimination. Special attention is paid to the risks associated with the broad interpretation of accountability in law enforcement practice, which may result in excessive limitations on labor rights. The necessity of a differentiated approach to imposing restrictions is substantiated, taking into account the level of corruption risk and the role of professional dynasties in specific sectors. The article proposes recommendations for legislative improvement, including the clarification of key terms, the development of clear criteria for prohibiting joint employment of relatives, and the implementation of conflict of interest management mechanisms as alternatives to strict preventive bans. The findings may be useful for lawmakers and practitioners seeking to enhance the effectiveness of anti- corruption measures while maintaining the constitutional rights of citizens
