- Abstract
Primary school age is a crucial period in human development, when the position of subjectivity is laid. The purpose of this article is to consider a comprehensive approach to the correction of anxiety, learned helplessness and chronic failure in primary school children. The article presents a systematic analysis of the causes of school anxiety, which “blocks” the solution of age-related tasks, leads a younger student to disorganization in educational activities. The paper clarifies the causes that give rise to extreme forms of school anxiety; describes the risks of a state of learned helplessness, which, in turn, has a destructive effect on the level of educational motivation and contributes to the formation of a total sense of failure
