Abstract

The article discusses the development of a digital educational environment for multicultural interaction, using the teaching of Russian language and culture to citizens of Indonesia as an example. The model is based on cultural, linguodidactic, psychological, sociological, and information- technological foundations. The article emphasizes the principles of cultural relevance, linguistic inclusiveness, psychological adaptability, social interactivity, and technological flexibility. The structure of the model is proposed, consisting of result-target, adaptive-content, communicative, and control- diagnostic components. The article also explores ways to accommodate the specific audience in Indonesia and adapt teaching materials to the cultural characteristics of students. It highlights the importance of creating an environment that facilitates effective intercultural dialogue and the development of intercultural competence, considering the demands and trends of digitalization in education. Overall, the article provides a theoretical framework for the construction of a digital educational environment for multicultural interaction in teaching Russian language and culture
